Job Description:
Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, you will implement and maintain remote Wi-Fi network infrastructure as well as ensure that regularly scheduled operational maintenance and support functions are carried out to ensure optimal network performance.

Duties & Responsibilities:
•Management of distributed hotspot network which includes day to day maintenance, checking of graphs and monitoring of Wi-Fi network performance
• Implementation of new hot spots
• Trouble shooting and analysis of Wi-Fi hotspots and backhaul issues
• Perform network audits
• Liaising with stakeholders for problem resolutions including contractors
• Provide 1st line on site support and maintenance relating to Wi-Fi access and backhaul networks
• Adherence to standards and policies

Required Skills:
• CCNA or equivalent (A+, N+) although CCNP certification is preferential
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle is essential
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Internet industry, preferably in a technical support, monitoring and/ or troubleshooting environment
• Proficient in the use of the MS office productivity suite
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Wi-Fi Network environment is essential
• Good working knowledge and support of connectivity types such as Wi-Fi and Optic Fibre
• Excellent understanding of firewalls, network authentication and Unix/Linux
• Good Cisco-based Networking skills such as LAN, WAN, network security, bandwidth management, NAT, access control lists and routing
• Problem solving, results and outputs driven
