Job description

We are a medium sized Below the Line Marketing Agency where our ideas and people are at the forefront of our success. While ideas and strategy are key in our planning phase, it is our on the ground promotional staff and activators who need to become the face of the brand we are representing. These activators are the key to our continued success and growth and we need someone to oversee the selection and training of these promotional staff. We are all about quality, but need the quantity too in order to execute across Gauteng at the highest level.

Your role, in a nutshell, would entail managing a team of three staffing managers, ensuring the quality of promotional staff your team are using are up to standard as well as well-trained. You need to ensure that the staff selected are a brand match for the campaign and make sure your team is continuously recruiting new promotional staff to add to our data base.

You will oversee all profiles being sent out to client and have a birds-eye view across the Gauteng region with regards to all things ‘staffing related’. This pertains only to promotional staff and activators and not permanent employees.


  • Managing a team of staffing managers
  • Constant recruiting of new promotional staff (students)
  • Coming up with strategic and effective ways to increase our promotional staff database
  • Streamlining the booking process
  • Reviewing all profiles sent through to client in terms of quality and brand match
  • Liaise directly with Senior Account Manager on all promotional staffing matters
  • Ensure your team is submitting their proposal on time
  • Accurately briefing in jobs received from senior account managers
  • Conduct/arrange ongoing brand training with promotional staff where relevant
  • Ensuring all collateral issued to promotional staff is returned and in working order

Must have a background in promotional staffing
Must have previous management experience
