Key Performance Areas

Enhance the customer experience through seamless campaign execution and customer-centric journeys driving response and repurchase rates

  • Develop and execute customer journeys across all digital and print touchpoints with strong communication and reducing errors
  • Create the Nursery Program to successfully onboard new customers by holding her hand and welcoming her to the HC family
  • Successfully set up and execute all campaigns, promotions and offers to delight the customer
  • Drive a channel relevant communication strategy

Drive mobile engagement

  • Increase digital % of NSV
  • Accurately execute all digital touchpoint strategies aligned to customer journeys over the campaign month
  • Develop innovative promotions, offers, and material strategies to drive digital migration
  • Drive digitalist mind-set and automation for improved efficiency

Drive organic growth through innovation

  • Innovate marketing strategies to increase customer demand and basket size
  • Engage and challenge the business to improve conversion through process innovation
  • Adspend Efficiency aligned to 2023 goal of 10% through personalization and digitization
  • Improve CPN through innovative Acquisition strategies (with Credit Risk)
  • Innovate offers to drive repurchase and improved payment performance

Achieve customer growth through analytics

  • Work with CICA to secure list growth and achieve new names and reacts forecast objectives
  • Collaborate with CICA to develop insight led campaign, segmentation strategies and customer journeys
  • Successfully manage all tests from concept, template, execution and post campaign analysis
  • Create and execute successful showroom launches

Accurately forecast and develop business plan and Adspend to provide the business with a clear roadmap to meet financial objectives

  • Accurately forecast Campaign P&Ls through methodologically sound assumptions and models
  • Develop Adspend forecasts accurately aligned with campaign strategies to meet efficiency objectives
  • Provide insightful reporting and analysis for weekly sales, monthly management reports, marketing review, quarterly concepts, and Ad hoc requests
  • Accurately forecast Financial Flows per channel and status buckets for weekly targets, monthly rates and growth aligned to business objectives
  • Drive collaboration and key stakeholder engagement with merchandise, credit risk and operations to develop the business plan on time

Optimise risk and drive adspend/business efficiency

  • Work with credit risk to optimise acquisition investment with projects like fresh start, nursery program and credit limit increases for existing customers
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers and vendors to improve efficiencies and business agility
  • Deliver and communicate campaign strategies in all briefs to the Creative and Merchandise teams on time
  • Optimise procurement/buy across TV, print, radio, and materials
  • Work with outbound and the dialler team to optimise dialler strategies and support sales with promotions, pitches and scripting
  • Drive process improvements in planning and campaign execution

  • Work with HR to successfully recruit and onboard new team members
  • Lead, motivate, and support the team through improved communication, structure, processes and feedback sessions
  • Ensure KPAs & PDP plans are in place for all team members aligned to business strategy and personal goals
  • Own your training and development plan with new e-learning portal
  • Focus on digital and data skills within the team

 

Requirements

Qualifications and accreditations

  •  Bachelor degree in business/marketing or equivalent qualification

Experience and skills

  • A minimum of five to seven years of marketing experience with omni-channel or multi-channel retailer
  • Minimum of three years ’ people management experience at senior level
  • Proven record of successfully growing business results through complex marketing campaigns management
  • Previous experience with planning and developing integrated media, digital and multi-channel campaign communication and solutions
  • Strong understanding of strategic marketing, integrated marketing, database marketing, customer engagement and segmentation
  • Exceptional financial and business acumen understanding and interpretation
  • Proven record of leading multiple areas simultaneously and developing strong collaboration between cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of legal and compliance impacts of direct and omni-channel marketing
  • Prior experience developing or working with a customer database preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Superior analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative) to provide detail or insight into reporting or business trends
  • Merchandise planning will be advantageous
