Sisters Incorporated is a private welfare organization, founded in 1959. It was originally established as a refuge for single, pregnant women at a time when tremendous stigma was attached to being unmarried and pregnant. Sisters Incorporated seeks to appoint a Receptionist to be based in Cape Town.

Job Title: Receptionist

  • Provide general administrative support (filing system, answer phones, monitor donation book, and internal office stock)
  • Oversee basic document management (drafting letters, document requests)
  • Monitor access to premises
  • Shelter volunteer and guest administration managed (system kept up-to-date, schedule managed, guests and clients welcomed)
  • Shelter resident, email, and telephone administration appropriately referred (all correspondence appropriately referred internally)


  • Minimum Matric School leaving certificate
  • Computer literate (skills with all Word programmes)
  • Driver’s license an advantage
